The Philippines has confirmed its second case of 2019-novel coronavirus acute respiratory disease (2019-nCoV ARD).
The man, who was said to be the companion of the first case, died due to pneumonia. He was also the first case of nCoV death both in the Philippines and outside of China.
The DOH said that both patients were not infected locally. Instead, they already have the disease in them upon their arrival from China.
