One of the iconic 90s barkadas are set to join forces soon.
In a series of posts on their social media accounts in the past days, the cast members of the iconic teen-oriented drama series T.G.I.S. delivered nostalgia to their fans.
Amonfg the first to share her letter was lead star Angelu de Leon, who portrayed Peachy in the original series.
She directed her message to co-star Bobby Andrews, who played the part of Wacks.
“From T.G.I.S. to today, it’s been almost three decades since we first shared the screen as Peachy and Wacks. We were just kids then, figuring out the cameras, the lines, and life itself,” she opened her letter.
“People fell in love with our tandem. It didn’t matter what characters we played; we will always be Peachy and Wacks in the eyes and hearts of the people who love our loveteam.”
Angelu then shared that she treasures the friendship that grew them and stayed.
“Thank you for being my partner in so many firsts, for the kulitan in between takes, and for never letting the years change who we are to each other,” she wrote, before expressing her excitement in sharing the screen with him again.
Meanwhile, Bobby wrote in his own message dedicated to Angelu: “Almost 30 years, and somehow the magic of Peachy and Wacks never really went away. We may have grown older, taken different paths, and played countless characters since then, but some connections are simply timeless.”
He also noted that what started as a loveteam became “something much more meaningful” as it became a “genuine friendship built on memories, laughter, shared experiences, and a bond that goes beyond the cameras.”
“Some partnerships are written into scripts, but the best ones become part of your life story. Grateful for all the years, the memories, and most of all, the friendship. Here’s to another chapter together!” he furthered.
Aside from them, other cast members also shared their fond memories of the show and their fellow stars. Among those that shared were the likes of Rica Peralejo, Chiara Sotto, Bernadette Allyson, and Polo Ravales.
The group are set to reunite in the upcoming Netflix film entitled Paskong Pinoy, which was announced as one of the streaming platform’s original local offerings for 2026.
Its premiere date has yet to be disclosed.
