She had a different kind of preparation for the show.
In a quick conversation with members of the press before the start of the media conference of LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2, comedienne Ethel Booba shared her preparations and experience while filming for the comedy-game show.
“Meron ako. Pinaramihan ko ang botox ko, ‘te!” Ethel quipped after she was asked about how she prepared for the second season of the hit Prime Video series.
In a follow-up, she was asked if the botox was effective, she noted: “Oo, nakatulong siya. Kita naman sa teaser, hindi talaga gumagalaw. Pina-triple ko talaga, para hindi gumalaw.”
“Hindi ‘to joke, totoo talaga ‘to. Ngayon, gumagalaw na siya,” she said as she admitted that the procedure was part of her strategy.
Meanwhile, she also shared her reaction after seeing the lineup of contestants, which also includes the likes of Long Mejia, Epy Quizon, Candy Pangilinan, Pooh, Chariz Solomon, Donna Cariaga, James Caraan, Charuth, and Esnyr.
“Natakot ako kay Pooh!” she recalled. “Kilala n’ya na ako personally. Ang tagal na naming mag-katrabaho, mag-kumare kami… talagang marami s’yang alam sa akin at baka ‘yun ang maging bala n’ya (laban sa akin).”
LOL: Last One Laughing Philippines Season 2 will drop on Friday, October 30, on Prime Video.
