He has not directly addressed the matter, but has made sure to convey the message of being kind to one another.
At the Hero For All 2026 event on Sunday, October 25, Asia’s Multimedia Star Alden Richards made an appearance as it has been done in association with his own AR Foundation.
This is notably his first public appearance since the recent allegations made by online personality Xian Gaza, who claimed that the actor has borrowed a condominium unit and luxury watches from an undisclosed couple.
While the 34-year-old star has not responded to those allegations, which were made by Gaza without presenting any proof, he spoke about being a good person at the said event.
“Sabihin n’yo nang mayabang ako. Pero alam ko, at the end of the day, I am a good person. No one can take that away (from me),” he said.
Alden continued, “And I’m sure, gusto niyong gano’n din ‘yung maging mindset ng mga heroes natin—na you can be proud to tell the world that you are a good person. Please, be proud of that fact.”
Before this, he also posted an image of him having a meal with his family on his social media page. He simply captioned it: “Too blessed.”
In light of the issue, several personalities have come to his rescue and shared their good experiences with Alden as a dear friend and workmate.
Among those that posted their own supportive messages were the likes of his former Sunday Pinasaya co-star Ai-Ai Delas Alas, GMA News reporter Nelson Canlas, and That’s My Bae members—who he worked with on Eat Bulaga.
