As the highly-anticipated Formula One (F1) Grand Prix happens this weekend.
In a series of photos on social media, several local celebrities and influencers shared their experience after meeting two of F1’s most recognizable names nowadays, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris.
Actress Julia Barretto, who is seen in the movie Always Yours, Never Mine, shared her photos during an event at the sportswear PUMA’s flagship store in Somerset, Singapore.
Meanwhile, actor-entrepreneur Dominic Roque also showed his selfie with the Scuderia Ferrari racer and even gave a short message for Leclerc in the caption.
“Pareng Pogi Charles! Good luck on race day!” Roque said.
Also seen at the same event were the likes of vlogger Ashley Yap, as well as other personalities from around Asia such as K-pop star Sangwon of ALPHA DRIVE ONE and Thai actor Frank Thanatsaran.
Meanwhile, in a separate event at PUMA’s store at VivoCity, Lando Norris graced an event set up for him there with his presence.
Another group of Filipino personalities were there to participate, led by actress Sofia Andres and her partner Daniel Miranda, podcaster and comedian Macoy Dubs, and couple Miccolo Solis and Ruth Jimenez.
The Formula One (F1) Singapore Grand Prix is happening from October 9 to 11 around the Singapore City Centre.
During the event, there will be a special lineup of performers, with Filipino band Lola Amour being amongst the list. They will take the stage at the DBS Foundation Outdoor Theatre at the Esplanade on October 11 (Sunday).
