Baby number two is on the way for the celebrity couple.
Fresh from his win as the Best Supporting Actor (Panalong Pangalawang Aktor) in the recently concluded CinePanalo Film Festival 2026, Zanjoe Marudo has shared another “blessing” coming his and wife Ria Atayde’s way.
“Buntis si Ria, buntis siya, hindi lang namin ina-announce,” the 44-year-old personality revealed during a screening of the movie Apol Of My Ai.
According to him, they treat this pregnancy as a blessing and noted that his routine has changed after becoming a father to their firstborn, Sabino, who was born in September 2024.
“Iba na, mas iba na ang routine ng buhay ko ngayon. Lagi nang gustong umuwi sa bahay siyempre, laging ayaw umalis sa bahay,” he said, adding that he feels happy with his family.
Meanwhile, he withheld the gender of the baby, noting: “Saka na natin i-announce.”
Marudo and Atayde first met as co-stars in the teleserye My Dear Heart in 2017, but only began dating in late 2022, as confirmed by the latter’s mother, Sylvia Sanchez. Months later, in January 2023, Zanjoe publicly confirmed their relationship in an interview with Karen Davila.
In February 2024, they surprised the public with a social media post announcing their engagement that was quickly followed by their intimate civil wedding ceremony on March 23 that year—Ria’s birthday.
Months later, in September 2024, the couple welcomed their first child.
Recently, Zanjoe also shared a Toy Story-themed birthday celebration for Sabino on his social media account.
