A song she has dedicated to her 20s.
Last Friday, October 2, award-winning actress-singer Nadine Lustre unveiled her newest single entitled 10yrs.
Ahead of the release of the said sentimental pop track, the one-and-only Multimedia Princess and the People’s President took to Instagram to share the message behind the song.
Attached in the said post is a photo of her in her 20s along with the song’s lyrics: “Had to be there for the rise… Damn I fell too many I regret nothing… I’m in it for the ride.”
In the caption, she wrote: “I used to think life was supposed to make sense while I was living it.”
“My 20s taught me that sometimes you have to live through the whole thing before you understand why certain versions of you had to exist. The falling, the rising, the losing, the finding… somehow, it all belonged,” she continued.
Nadine continued, “Wrote a lil’ something for her.”
As of this writing, the official lyric video of the song has amassed more than 27,000 views on YouTube since it was published.
Prior to this, she previously released singles like Personal and Donuts, which featured Black Eyed Peas star Apl.de.Ap.
Currently, Nadine is also seen every weeknight on GMA via the telecast of the hit streaming series Love, Siargao, where she portrays the role of Kara, who is opposite Alden Richards’ Jao.
