“Some places are more than just a property. They become part of the family.”
In a lengthy post on her Instagram account, actress Glaiza De Castro uploaded snapshots of her holiday home in Baler, Aurora.
In the caption, she narrated how it became hers in the first place.
“In 2018, I bought a holiday home in Baler, Aurora. At the time, it was simply a place where we could escape, slow down, and spend time together,” the Kapuso star and soon-to-be mom shared.
“But over the years, it became so much more. It became the place where our family gathered for birthdays, celebrations, long weekends, and those ordinary days that somehow became some of our favorite memories,” she continued.
When the pandemic came, however, she found herself and her family spending more time in Baler.
“[D]uring those quiet months, I discovered a deeper appreciation for the province-the slower pace, the beautiful surroundings, the warmth of the community, and the simple joy of being together,” Glaiza added.
From thereon, improvement works were made on the property, with spaces created for people to “relax and reconnect,” and eventually, they opened their home to guests through Airbnb.
“It was incredibly special to see other families and friends create their own memories there,” she furthered.
Now, though, as an expectant mother, life is changing for her once again.
“Our priorities have shifted and new plans for the future are taking shape. And after much thought, we feel that it is time to let this special place begin a new chapter with another family,” she said.
“So, with a little bit of sadness-but also with a lot of gratitude-we are offering our beloved holiday home in Baler, Aurora for sale.”
De Castro expressed that they are looking for an owner who will see what they saw in it. “[N]ot just a property, but a place with warmth, character, and so much potential,” she added.
Furthermore, it is “a place where families can gather. Where friends can celebrate. Where children can grow up making memories. Where someone can wake up, breathe a little deeper, and appreciate the beauty of life.”
“We have made so many memories here, and now we are ready to pass the keys-and the opportunity to create many more-to someone new,” the Kapuso star concluded her post.
