Within the past few days, three leading men renewed their commitments with GMA Network and its talent management agency Sparkle GMA Artist Center.

First to sign a contract was Primetime Action Hero Ruru Madrid last Thursday, September 17.

In a lengthy post on his Instagram account, he shared how much time has passed since he started out his showbusiness career.

From a young boy with a dream, to the man I am today,” he opened his post. “Naaalala ko nung sumali ako sa Protégé. I was young, excited, nervous, and simply grateful for the chance to chase the dream of becoming an actor.

At that time, Ruru said, he didn’t know where the journey would bring him. “I only knew na gusto kong matulungan ang pamilya ko, and I wanted to learn, to grow, and to give everything I had,” he added.

Fast forward to 14 years later, the now 28-year-old star said that half of his life has been spent as a Kapuso.

And when I look back, ang dami nang nagbago. I’ve played different characters, faced challenges, experienced victories, learned from failures, and grown in ways I never imagined. Every project became a lesson. Every opportunity became a blessing. And every person I met along the way became part of my story,” he furthered, adding that he remains incredibly grateful to say that his Kapuso journey continues.

Thank you, GMA, for believing in me since the beginning and for continuing to trust me with opportunities that challenge me to become better, not just as an actor, but as a person,” he said.

And to everyone who has been there since Protégé, hanggang sa bawat yugtong sumunod, maraming, maraming salamat. You are a part of this journey too.

Madrid also said that he is stepping into the next chapter with a “grateful heart, stronger faith, more purpose, and an even greater hunger to grow and create stories that matter.”

For him, the dream that started 14 years ago for him is “still alive,” and this time, he is dreaming bigger.

To the next chapter. To more stories. To more dreams. Tuloy lang tayo, Kapuso,” he concluded his post.

Ruru is set to top-bill the upcoming action series Hari Ng Tondo, where he will star alongside Dennis Trillo.

Meanwhile, the following day, September 18, it was Rayver Cruz’s turn to sign his contract with the station.

“Signed. Sealed. A new chapter,” he said in a post. “Thank you [GMA Network] and [Sparkle] for the trust and for allowing me to keep doing what I love. I’m excited and ready for everything that’s ahead! Once again proud to be Kapuso.”

Rayver was recently seen as Dio Halari in the top-rating afternoon drama Born To Shine and as host, alongside Julie Anne San Jose, on The Clash Teens.

He is also seen weekly on the variety show All-Out Sundays as host and performer.

On Saturday, September 19, Miguel Tanfelix signed his new contract with the network and the agency.

During which, he was also officially given the title of Kapuso Primetime Prince, a major milestone in his more than 23 years as a Kapuso, which began when he started out as a contestant in StarStruck Kids.

As an actor, that’s important to me. GMA has programs that teach culture to Filipinos, history to students. Now, I’m working on [Taskforce Firewall], which spreads awareness about the dangers of modern technology. And there are also shows who give inspirations to people who dream,” Miguel said in a press interview, as reported by GMA News.

Miguel is currently seen as Galo in the top-rating action drama series Taskforce Firewall.
