“How can you choose a love that keeps on changing?”
That is the intriguing logline of the new movie starring the JoshLia tandem of Joshua Garcia and Julia Barretto.
On Friday, September 18, ABS-CBN’s film production outfit Star Cinema released the official trailer of the upcoming reunion movie of Always Yours, Never Mine.
In the said clip, viewers get to meet Apollo (Joshua) and Luna (Julia) and the people around them.
One of the trailer’s highlight is a confrontation between the two lead characters, where Luna said to Apollo: “Sasaktan lang kita. I’m not gonna be good for you. Magmahal ka na lang ng iba, ‘wag ako.”
Confirmed to be starring in this film are veteran actress Chanda Romero, Ina Raymundo, Karen Reyes, Bob Jbeili, Migs Almendras, Paulo Angeles, Franco Laurel, Reign Parani, Paolo Gumabao, and Jan Silveri, Joy Barcoma—who will be making her acting debut through this project.
The film will also star Kapuso Prime Gem Bianca Umali, who is making her first-ever movie project with Star Cinema.
The project is helmed by director Cathy Garcia-Sampana, with its story created by renowened filmmaker Olivia Lamasan, together with Trishtan Perez and Vanessa Valdez.
This will serve as the JoshLia’s tandem’s comeback more than two years after the mega-blockbuster flick Un/Happy For You in 2024.
JoshLia was first formed in the hit 2016 movie Vince, Kath, and James, which was followed by Unexpectedly Yours, Love You To The Stars and Back, and I Love You Hater.
In 2018, Joshua and Julia landed their first primetime teleserye as a pair when they topbilled as Inno and Eva, respectively, in Ngayon at Kailanman.
