It has been more than five months since he departed former team and agency.

On Thursday, September 10 (Mamila time), Korean-Canadian singer-rapper and former NCT member Mark Lee unveiled his new solo music.

Making his comeback after releasing The Firstfruit in 2025, the 27-year-old dropped the single My Friend under his newly established label, Upper Room, where he concurrently serves as the Chief Executive Officer.

Accompanying the said track is a music video, which runs for two minutes and 57 seconds, that was published on the same on streaming platform YouTube. As of this writing, that clip has already amassed more than 5 million views.

Mark was among the first members of NCT to be introduced in April 2016, eventually becoming part of the permanent sub-unit NCT 127 and NCT Dream, which was then a unit with a “graduation system.”

Eventually, he “graduated” from Dream in 2019, but was brought back the following year as the team became another fixed unit.

Outside of NCT, Lee also dabbled into his solo projects, collaborations with other artists, and the project group SuperM.
