She is expecting her first baby with her Irish husband David Rainey.
In a post on her Instagram account, Kapuso actress Glaiza De Castro dropped a major life announcement as she revealed her pregnancy.
The 38-year-old personality, who recently starred in Encantadia Chronicles: Sang’gre and the animated documentary film 58th, showed her baby bump through a series of photos uploaded onto her Instagram account.
“Entering another chapter,” she opened her post. “So glad I’m through the first trimester because… GRABE PALA.”
For now, she withheld other information about her pregnancy and told that she will share more about that soon.
Although, Glaiza said she finds it comforting to talk to other women also undergoing the same journey as hers as a first-time mother.
“It’s also been so nice and comforting talking to other women about this journey as a first-time mom. I need all the help I can get,” she said.
To conclude her caption, De Castro wrote: “Basta masasabi ko lang, ibang klase talaga ang mga nanay.”
Her comments section has since been filled with overflowing messages of congratulations from her fellow artists such as her Encantadia “daughters” Kate Valdez and Faith da Silva, her best friend Angelica Panganiban, Sanya Lopez, Ruru Madrid, Mikee Quintos, Barbie Forteza, Alessandra de Rossi, Carla Abellana, Kokoy de Santos, and many more.
Her husband, David, also replied with a simple message reading: “Another chapter indeed.”
It was back in October 2021 when Glaiza and David tied the knot through an intimate ceremony held in Ireland. After that, the couple affirmed their love for one another through a ceremony held in Zambales in 2023.
