As an avid gamer himself.
In a post on Instagram last Thursday, August 27, actor Paulo Avelino gave his fans and followers a good laugh after sharing his “priorities” in the coming months.
The 38-year-old Kapamilya star, who is also known as an avid gamer, shared what he feels like doing following the recent confirmation about the launch date of the video game Grand Theft Auto 6 (GTA 6), which will be released globally on November 19, as well as the 1.0 of Path of Exile 2 on December 11.
In his “message,” Paulo jokingly wrote: “To my fans, my kababayan, and everyone I’ve worked with… After a lot of prayer and some hard conversations at home, I’m stepping away from everything effective October 31. The movies, the teleserye, all my endorsements. Everything.“
According to him, “GTA 6 is out November 19. PoE 2 hits 1.0 on December 11, and they finally added swords. I watched the Extended Look last night and I have not been okay since.“
He also, in jest, called his legal counsel to tell everyone that will sue him that he will be available in March 2027. “I’ll have 100% GTA completion and a build nobody can touch by then. Sue me at my peak,” he said.
Paulo also told to not tag him in clips and said: “Wag niyo ako i tag sa clips. Babalik din ako. Basta. God bless po.”
In the replies section, fans were left baffled by what he meant with this post, with some asking for the context.
Meanwhile, many have also expressed feeling the same, with fellow actor Carlo Aquino noting that he also wants to do such thing.
But for fans of Paulo, fret not, as he is still going to be visible. Recently, he was confirmed to be starring with his perennial on-screen partner Kim Chiu in the upcoming movie entitled A Perfect Marriage.
