Making history twice in the process.
On Sunday, August 30, the first-ever Miss Interglobal competition was held in Bali, Indonesia, with Filipina beauty queen Margarette Briton representing the Philippines.
The experienced pageant queen, who was declared Miss Grand Philippines 2025 first runner-up, the same edition when reigning queen Emma Tiglao won, fought to have her own crown in the said competition.
With her strong showing in the said contest, Britton was able to bring home the title and crown of Miss Interglobal 2026.
With this victory, she made history twice by being the first-ever winner of the said international pageant and the first Filipina to do so.
In a post, she conveyed her feelings after winning the crown. “From asking myself, ‘Can I make it?’ to ‘I made it.'”
“There are so many people I want to thank, but for now I’m still on cloud nine and letting everything sink in,” she added.
For Marga, there is no such word as ‘impossible’ when one has the courage to pursue their dreams despite any odds.
Meanwhile, host delegate Nabila Fenelia of Indonesia was declared first runner-up and Australian participant Nicole Missios of Australia finished as second runner-up.
In the Teen and Mrs. categories, other winners emerged. Cuban beauty queen Crissian Hernandez of Cuba was crowned Miss Teen Interglobal, while Kazakhastan’s Dariya Toleukhan of Kazakhstan is Mrs. Interglobal 2026.
