It was an all-star match featuring some of the biggest Filipino stars and influencers.
On Saturday, August 29, the gloomy weather did not stop the first day of the inaugural NBA House Philippines 2026 from happening at the SPACE at One Ayala in Makati City.
During the day, various activities were held inside and around the hall, including brand activations and other entertaining events for fans who braved the rain and flood to attend the event.
But the highlight of the entire day is the Prime Video Celebrity Showcase, which was an all-star event that saw teams led by National Basketball Association (NBA) Legends Tony Parker and Jason Kidd compete on the court.
Organized by the streaming platform Prime Video, it featured different stars and personalities in TV and movies, music, and the internet.
Team Tony Parker comprises RK Bagatsing, River Joseph, Ralph de Leon, Juancho Triviño, Fred Moser, Kimson Tan, Mikee Reyes, and Russco Jarvina, Sachi Jimenez and Trina Guytingco. SB19 members Josh, Ken, and Justin also joined the said lineup.
Meanwhile, Team Jason Kidd are Khalil Ramos, JM Ibarra, Elijah Canlas, Gab Lagman, Rave Victoria, Jeremiah Lisbo, Diego Gutierrez, Nedend Villaruel, and LA Aguinaldo, Margaux Nonato and Christiana Dimaunahan. SB19’s Stell and Pablo were part of the said group.
By the end of the special match, Parker’s squad emerged victorious over their opponents, 97-76.
Following the said exhibition match, the house went down with the special performances during the NBA House Philippines 2026 Music Sessions, which featured performances by SB19 and fellow P-pop group KAIA.
Beyond the Celebrity Showcase and Music Sessions, NBA House Philippines also offers fans a variety of interactive basketball and pop culture activities, including basketball challenges, fan engagement zones, NBA memorabilia displays, merchandise experiences, and appearances by NBA and WNBA icons.
The event will run until Sunday, August 30.
