It will be the latest program to be included in the re-expanding partnership between the Kapamilya and Kapatid networks.
At the Tara, Kapatid media and trade launch event last Thursday, August 6, seasoned broadcast journalist Korina Sanchez-Roxas personally delivered a special news for viewers.
After the presentation of her morning talk show Face To Face With Ate Koring, which was reformatted from a tabloid talk show to a lifestyle format in mid-March, and taking questions from the media, the news personality dropped a major announcement regarding one of her several programs at present.
A video for Rated Korina, her long-running newsmagazine program, was played. Specifically, the omnibus plug for Sanchez-Roxas’ 30 years in the format, which began with Balitang K in 1996 and followed by Rated K in 2004.
“30 years of telling extraordinary stories. Dahil ang ginto talaga sa bawat kuwento ng ordinaryong Pilipino is extraordinary,” she noted. “Napakaraming nakukuhang kuwento! At hangga’t may kuwentong Pinoy, nandiyan ang Rated Korina.”
According to Korina, it will be simulcast on TV5 every Sunday at 3:30 pm, with the premiere date yet to be announced.
This move marks the show’s comeback to the Kapatid network, where it first made its premiere as a co-production between Brightlight Productions and Korina’s own outfit, Viktory8 Media, in October 2020.
In June 2021, Rated Korina was brought “home” when Brightlight entered into a partnership with ABS-CBN, which produced Balitang K and Rated K, to carry the newsmagazine program on Kapamilya Channel and A2Z.
In 2023, ABS-CBN Studios would take over from Brightlight as a co-producer and would maintain the show on the three TV channels.
However, following the termination of the supposed five-year-deal between ABS-CBN and TV5 in January, Rated Korina aired the last episode of its original run on the Kapatid network in December 2025.
At that time, Korina remained visible on TV5 as host of what was then Face To Face: Harapan, which eventually became Face To Face With Ate Koring.
