‘Our Sticky Love’ drops full trailer, poster ahead of August 7 premiere

“It’s a heart-warming, feel-good romantic comedy.”

“It’s a heart-warming, feel-good romantic comedy.”

That is what director Kim Jang-han said about the upcoming Netflix series Our Sticky Love, which is topbilled by Jung Hae In and Ha Young.

It’s a story about building love that binds two people as tightly as sticky, sweet Korean taffy. The series’ irresistible charm will leave you unable to pull yourself away, just like getting stuck to Korean taffy before you even realize it,” he further described the series that will premiere on Netflix this August 7.

In the series, Go Eun-sae portrays Ha Young, who is a prosecutor who lost her memory, while Jung Hae-in plays the part of Jang Tae-ha, a boxing coach who claims to be her boyfriend.

The main trailer provides viewers a glimpse of their rocky beginning in the Taffy Village in Gujin-gun. Later on, Eun-sae wakes up in a hospital in a rural town with all of her memories lost.

Before she even gets to understand what is happening, Tae-ha, with his shabby appearance, appears and claimed to be her boyfriend.

Aside from that, she also struggles in the quiet small town lined with traditional taffy shops and its peculiar residents, which feels alien and uncomfortable to her.

As the two end up living together, a strange arrangement in a small town turns into a quirky, sweet romance.

However, as their relationship seems to be softening, Tae-ha’s serious warning that they can’t let anyone find out about them hints at a deeper secret beneath their story.

Questions build around what he’s hiding, why Eun-sae is said to be safest by his side, and what really happened to bind them together so tightly,” the premise further read.
