A different experience is coming for Kapamilya and Kapatid viewers.
On Monday, July 27, the next phase of the ongoing ee-expansion of the partnership between ABS-CBN and TV5 will happen.
At 2:30 pm, from Monday to Saturday, both networks will simultaneously air on their platforms the second book of the TV5 Entertainment-produced series My Bespren Emman, which stars JM de Guzman, Shaina Magadayao, Sid Lucero, Ai-Ai Delas Alas, and Michael de Mesa.
The said program will mark the return of fresh local dramas to ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold and TV5’s Hapon Champion after two years.
Coincidentally, their prior co-produced series in 2023 were a pair of afternoon dramas—Pira-Pirasong Paraiso and Nag-aapoy na Damdamin.
Due to the State of the Nation Address of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. on the same day, the complete revamped slate of both networks will instead be seen on Tuesday, July 28.
On ABS-CBN platforms, specifically ALLTV2, Kapamilya Channel, and Kapamilya Online Live, as well as A2Z, they will continue to air classic shows throughout the rest of the afternoon block.
From 3:15 to 4:45 pm, the reruns of Can’t Buy Me Love starring Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano and the High Street led by Andrea Brillantes and JK Labajo will remain part of the lineup.
It will then be followed by the rebroadcast of the 2022 Korean series Happiness, top-billed by Park Hyung-sik and Han Hyo Joo, that will be aired weekdays at 4:45 pm.
The Kapamilya Gold block also continue to be capped by TV Patrol Express at 5:30 pm and Minute To Win It at 5:45 pm.
Over at TV5, meanwhile, the afternoon newscast Frontline Express anchored by Ruth Cabal will be transferred back to its original timeslot at 3:15 pm.
After that, the reruns of Mano Po Legacy: The Family Fortune and the ’80s series Knight Rider of David Hasselhoff will air back-to-back from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
INTEGRATED PRIMETIME SLATE
The partnership between the two media giant also extends to weekday primetime, with the new trio of dramas starting to air on their platforms on the same day.
Coco Martin’s Sigabo will still kick-off the new Primetime Bida block on ABS-CBN platforms, A2Z Primetime, and TV5’s TodoMax Primetime at 8:00 pm.
Right after that, at 8:45 pm, the comeback series of Kathryn Bernardo, James Reid, and Maja Salvador will take the airwaves.
In a first for both stations, a TV5 original primetime series will air on ABS-CBN as A Secret In Prague starring Andrea Brillantes and Enrique Gil moves to a new time of 9:30 pm.
The Chinese drama series, Fireworks In My Heart, however, will remain exclusive on ABS-CBN platforms and A2Z, while TV5 will proceed with Frontline Tonight.
It was back in June when ABS-CBN and TV5 revived their partnership, which was briefly paused in January after a publicized rift between both networks in December 2025.
Aside from Sigabo, already airing as part of the re-expanding Kapamilya-Kapatid partnership are Face To Face With Ate Koring every morning, and Kapamilya Deal Or No Deal and Everybody, Sing on weekends.
