The Popstar Royalty was also seen reunited with her mother, Divine Geronimo.
On Saturday, July 25, singer-actress-performer Sarah Geronimo celebrates her 38th birthday by having a special duet session with her father, Delfin Geronimo.
In the first installment of her digital series called Special Sessions, the father-and-daughter tandem performed their rendition of Jose Mari Chan’s Refrain.
“This is a gift to myself, to everyone and my father. To celebrate him and our love for music,” wrote Sarah on the project in a post on her Instagram account.
Meanwhile, in the said post, a video containing behind-the-scene happenings and the sentiments of Sarah and Delfin was also included.
“Sobrang proud ako sa anak ko kasi siguro, sa kanya lang ako nakakakuha ng lakas ng loob,” noted Delfin, who also expressed happiness to be getting to perform again, and with her daughter, no less.
“Sobrang masaya ko t’saka masyado akong na-touch sa mga kanta. Habang kumakanta kami, para akong maiiyak eh,” he added.
For her part, Sarah called the duet a “dream come true” and expressed, “Sobra akong masayang-masaya dahil I got to do this with the dearest person in my life, siyempre ang tatay at nanay ko. Kasama ko ang tatay ko ngayon, sharing beautiful music.”
As mentioned, her mother, Divine, was also spotted at the site where they recorded the performance and even hugged Sarah.
Over at his personal account, Sarah’s husband, Matteo Guidicelli told: “Happy birthday my love! This will be the best year ever.”
