Bringing the live show to those living in the “Land Down Under.”
On Saturday, July 25, the TikTok Entertainment Centre (formerly Aware Super Theatre) in Darling Harbour, Sydney becomes the center of a star-studded celebration as Kapamilya stars join forces for a major overseas show of the musical variety program ASAP XP.
Taking the stage at the said event are mainstays and OPM icons led by Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez-Alcasid, Zsazsa Padilla, Martin Nievera, and Ogie Alcasid, as well as more of the country’s biggest stars.
Confirmed for the back-to-backs shows on the same day are the likes of Donny Pangilinan, Belle Mariano, Kim Chiu, Paulo Avelino, Darren, Robi Domingo, Kyle Echarri, Alexa Ilacad, Kai Montinola, Esang de Torres, Elha Nympha, and AC Bonifacio.
The other members of the It’s Showtime family are also joining the show: Anne Curtis, Jhong Hilario, and Vhong Navarro.
James Reid, TJ Monterde, and MAKI are all included in the lineup as well.
The first show happens at 12:30 pm, with organizers calling it an “electrifying, heart-tugging, and packed” program with “a unique setlist of chart-topping hits, vibrant dance numbers, and exclusive segments.”
Meanwhile at 7:00 pm, the evening show that is equally “high energy, soulful, and grand” kicks off, with a brand-new program featuring different hit songs, dance numbers, and exclusive segments.
ASAP XP in Australia is the next overseas show of the Philippines’ longest-running musical variety program.
In 2025, as part of its 30th anniversary, it held international events in Birmingham, United Kingdom and Vancouver, Canada.
Meanwhile, was back in February when the ASAP revealed the Australia event, which is included in the list of its major activities for its 31st anniversary. Another major milestone this year is its move to primetime through its reformatted version as ASAP XP.
