The program challenged developer to build practical payment solutions to address real-world challenges.
Recently, the multi-week Build In! Payments Hackathon, organized by Morph in partnership with Bitget’s Blockchain4Youth initiative and DvCode Technologies Inc., was held.
The said hackathon established a shared vision to inspire builders, encourage innovation, and strengthen the Web3 community through Morph and Bitget’s builder initiatives.
Participants were introduced to the Morph ecosystem, where they learned about its technology, community, and opportunities for developers to build within the ecosystem.
The program also featured a session by Eli Rabadon, CEO of DvCode Technologies Inc. and author of the book Programming4Youth: Code Like a Cook, who encouraged participants to embrace experimentation, adaptability, and creative problem-solving.
The said hackathon featured five payment tracks: Cross-Border Remittance, SME Payments, Payroll/B2B, FX Treasury, and x402 Agentic Payments.
Participants competed for a 3,500 USDC prize pool, with the program culminating in a live project showcase and awarding ceremony at YSpaces BGC in Taguig City.
Sniffy, an AI-powered solution that enables AI agents to autonomously pay for and access App Store Optimization (ASO) data, emerged as the grand champion.
Built for founders and product teams, Sniffy allows ASO research to become part of agentic loops, eliminating the need to manually monitor dashboards — helping teams streamline product research and improve their apps’ discoverability on the App Store and Google Play Store.
Other winning projects include Mandate402 for x402 Agentic Payments, Centrus Sovereign for Cross-Border Remittance, Ember for SME Payments, PayMemo for Payroll/B2B, Agent Mesh for the Community Choice Award, and Echo for the Blockchain4Youth Award.
“At Bitget, we believe the future of Web3 starts with investing in people,” said Gracy Chen, Chief Executive Officer.
“Through Blockchain4Youth, our goal is to empower the next generation of builders by giving them access to learning opportunities where they can grow their skills with confidence. Supporting initiatives like the hackathon reflects our commitment to helping aspiring builders take their first steps toward building payment solutions.”
Meanwhile, David Hsiao, Chief Marketing Officer of Morph, noted: “The Build In! Payments Hackathon reflects Morph’s vision of nurturing a builder-first ecosystem where developers gain practical experience, exchange ideas, and grow together.”
