She is set to return to action next week.
In a story uploaded onto her Instagram account on Monday, July 20, Filipina tennis star Alex Eala shared her message to her fans at home as she departed the country for the next series of matches abroad.
The 21-year-old came home to the Philippines last July 12 after her historic run at the Wimbledon Championships 2026 in the United Kingdom earlier in the month.

Alex also added that the support she received has given her a “refreshed memory” of what she carries with her while playing tennis.
“I leave with a refreshed memory of what I carry when I’m out there playing tennis. And wow is it a privilege to be part of something bigger than myself,” Eala furthered.
Lastly, Alex said, “Never been prouder to represent home.”
Alex is set to participate in the upcoming Mubadala DC Open that will take place in the United States and during which, multiple players — including some of the world’s leading female tennis stars — are set to compete.
