Through a poster unveiled by the Korean artist management company Management Soop last Friday, July 10, it officially announced that actor Gong Yoo is set to embark on a multi-city Asian tour entitled The Long Take.
The Hallyu superstar, known for his portrayals in several hit series such as Coffee Prince, Goblin and Train To Busan, will be holding the show in Seoul and head to Jakarta, Yokohama, and Bangkok.
Also part of the list is Manila, Philippines, where he is set to make his first-ever fan meeting.
While details and other information are still kept under wraps as of the moment, the 47-year-old, who celebrated his birthday on the same day, gave his message for his fans.
It read, “Hello, this is Gong Yoo. It has been a long time since I sent my greetings in my own handwriting. Is everyone staying healthy during this sweltering summer?“
“Thanks to the warm hearts and birthday wishes you send me without fail every year, I am spending this year with true gratitude as well,” he added.
He also thanked his fans that has been with him for a long time, which also led him look back on how much time has already passed.
“So this year, I have prepared a gathering to face that time in person and be together. I hope to add a new scene to our long-standing story,” he continued.
“Until that day, I will also stay in my place and come back to see you in good spirits. Thank you always,” he concluded the message.
Recently, he joined Kim Go Eun, Lee Dong Wook, and Yoo In Na in the special reunion program to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Goblin.
