On Friday, July 10, streaming giant Netflix unveiled the official teaser of the new series entitled Our Sticky Love, which is top-billed by Korean stars Jung Hae In and Ha Young.
The teaser trailer blends the “fish-out-of-water” comedy with a gripping hint of noir suspense as audiences get a glimpse of the story that follows Go Eun-sae (Ha Young), a prosecutor who lost her memory, and Jang Tae-ha (Jung Hae In), a boxing coach who appears at her bedside claiming to be her boyfriend.
That happened she woke up in a rural hospital with total amnesia with Tae-ha dropping the bombshell: “I’m your boyfriend.”
Without any way to prove who she is, and only this stranger as a “clue,” Eun-sae finds herself living with him and is pulled into an unexpected new life.
However, her “high-end city instincts” remain intact, leading to hilarious bickering as she refuses to believe this rugged country boxer could ever be her type.
“However, with glimpses of a mysterious past and the chilling presence of crime boss Baek Sang-gil (Heo Sung tae) looming in the background, this laugh-out-loud reality check sets the stage for a classic K-drama romance where opposites get hopelessly stuck together,” Netflix furthered in its press release.
Our Sticky Love will exclusively premiere on Netflix this August 7.
