The former survival show contestants have met anew.
Last weekend, Korean pop star Jay Chang of the boy band One Pact visited the Philippines for a series mall shows around Metro Manila and a media tour at various TV and radio networks.
During which, the 25-year-old idol also bonded with his Fipino fans during those engagements even just for a short while, as those included meet-and-greet sessions.
Perhaps, one of the biggest interaction he had during his stay was a reunion with one of his former co-participants in the survival reality show Under Nineteen, which aired back in 2018.
After he was done with his own activities for the day, Jay paid a visit to C13, who held the Kalawakan (The Evolution) concert together with his fellow members of the P-pop group VXON at the SM North EDSA Skydome in Quezon City last Saturday, June 27.
On his social media accounts, the Filipino singer-performer, who was once a K-pop trainee, shared snapshots of his reunion with the One Pact member.
He wrote in the caption, “Was great seeing my brother Jay Chang again after 8 years!!! Thank you for having the time to support us VXON! I’ll see you in KR again soon.”
In the comments section, fans shared their delight seeing the two together after awhile. One even shared her disbelief that it has been eight years since Under Nineteen was aired.
Aired on Korean TV network MBC from November 2018 to February 2019, the said program led to the creation of the project group 1THE9.
Despite not becoming part of the final line-up, the two would fulfill their dreams of becoming idols as Jay would later debut with One Pact in 2023, while C13 became part of VXON in 2022.
