It is touted as the biggest Pride month celebration.
On Saturday, June 27, Quezon City will play host to the biggest Pride month celebration in the Philippines, the Lovelab4n Pride PH Festival 2026.
Held inside the University of the Philippines (UP) Campus in Diliman, the event is in support of the advocacy of equality, diversity and inclusivity, with activities such as a Pride Expo, Pride March, Pride Night, while there are also Pride Villages simultaneously set up in Maginhawa Street and Araneta City, Cubao.
The Lovelab4n Pride PH Festival 2026 is expected to gather around 300,000 individuals, according to the city government.
The said event was made possible through a partnership between the Pride PH Coalition, the local government unit of Quezon City, as well as the University of the Philippines-Diliman.
In her comment, Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte underscored the commitment of the city to become a safe space for all members of the LGBTQIA+ Community.
“Quezon City will continue to be a home and safe space for all members of the rainbow community, through various initiatives, policies and programs,” the local chief executive emphasized.
“We are proud to partner with Pride PH, UP Diliman and stand with all the members of the community and fellow allies as we continue to fight for equal rights and the promotion of inclusivity.”
Earlier in the dag, Belmonte joined thousands of members of the LGBTQIA+ community and allies, as well as queer-led businesses, embassies, non-government organizations, and advocates, in the Pride March, where they went around the 5-kilomter route from the UP Diliman Oval to Commonwealth Avenue and back to the University Avenue.
The city government also said that it has deployed security personnel, traffic enforcers, healthcare workers, and emergency response units to manage crowd flow, maintain peace and order, and respond swiftly to any incidents or emergencies.
In addition, different local government services are also available to the festival goers including QCID, HIV testing, social services, among others.
Meanwhile, throughout the day, performances will also be staged by different guests, with the list led by the likes of OPM hitmaker Maki, singers Klarisse de Guzman, Angela Ken, Fana, Macky Empuerto, and Enzo Almario, drag queens Taylor Sheesh, Viñas Deluxe, Arizona Brandy, Sofia Trazona, P-pop groups Neo, Xcegon, Sugar ‘N Spice, and more.
The event is hosted by a team comprising DJ Jhai Ho, Nicole Cordoves, and Baileys Acot, among others.
