On Thursday afternoon, June 11, TV host-comedian Vice Ganda took time to visit her account on X (formerly Twitter).
During which, she directly answered and refuted claims of netizens, mostly fans of the K-pop group BTS, who have been spreading rumors about her and the rest of the team at the noontime variety show It’s Showtime.
According to their speculations, Vice reportedly bought 50 tickets to the upcoming Arirang concert of the mega boy band in Bulacan in March 2027.
One user said in her tweet, “so totoo nga yung kay vice ganda? p*****i** niya nawalan ako ng respeto sakanya.”
In response, Vice did not mince her words and also responded with an expletive-laden tweet.
“B***** mapagpaniwala amp****! San galing ang 50tix? Aanhin ko yun? 100 ba ang mata at tenga ko kung sakaling manunuod man ako!!! Ni hindi ko nga alam ang sched ko sa araw na yun!” said the Unkabogable Superstar.
Another one that she responded to read: “mahiya ka naman vice ganda… ang hirap kumuha ng ticket ng bts tapos ikaw 50tix pa nakuha mo. 2 lang max sa website pero sayo petiks lang. nakakahiya galawan mo. sana lumaban naman kayo ng patas.”
Vice fired back by saying: “Mas mahiya ka at ang mga kapwa mong mga b*** na mapagpaniwala sa mga tsismis na pang t****! Tama yan! Nawa’y magpuyos ang mga puso nyo sa galit na likha ng mga maliliit nyong utak na kayang g*g*hin ng fake news!”
Many ARMYs have also come to defend the superstar, with one user saying that others should personally conduct basic fact-checking first before spreading information online.
“OA din kasi ng iba. Pwede magfact check muna at gumamit ng utak. Dami niyo inaaway nalang at pinapakalat ng kung ano anong walang basis puro sabi sabi. Nakakahiya kayo. Kalmahan niyo,” they said.
