The rising Filipina athlete marked her special day with the beautiful city as her backdrop.
On Saturday, May 23, Filipina tennis sensation Alex Eala celebrated her 21st birthday in Paris, France, where she is set to compete for the French Open 2026 next week.
In her Instagram post, she shared images of her intimate birthday dinner, where she received a bouquet of flowers with the majestic Eiffel Tower standing tall behind her.
“21 can you do sum for meeeeeeeeeeee,” she wrote in the caption.
In other slides, Alex also showed more photos from the dinner she had with her parents, Michael and Rizza Eala, as well as her playful side while carrying a bottle of liquor.
The tennis champ also received a cake and a group hug on the court from her friends and usual opponents Eva Lys, Iva Jovic, and Zeynep Sönmez—who all joined her in a girls’ night out.
The celebration comes days before Alex’s scheduled matches at the French Open, where she is confirmed to be playing against Iva in the first round of the women’s singles scheduled on Tuesday, May 26 (Paris time).
She is also expected to compete at the women’s doubles, pairing up with Victoria Mboko. Together, thety will take on the tandem of Leylah Fernandez and Diana Shneider.
Recently, Alex ranked up in the leaderboard of the Women’s Tennis Association (WTA), placing 38th globally in the singles category.
