On Monday, May 18, K-pop group ZEROBASEONE released their first record as a five-member team comprising of Kim Ji-woong, Sung Han-bin, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae-rae, and Park Gun-wook.
The team, which has moved forward as a permanent group, released on the said day their sixth mini-album entitled Ascend.
Carried as the lead single of the said extended play is the song called Top 5, which had its music video released on Sunday, May 17 (Manila time).
At present, the music video has received more than 5.5 million views.
The album also contains an Intro, as well as the tracks V for Vision, Customize, Exotic, Changes, and Zero to Hundred.
ZEROBASEONE was originally formed as a nine-member project group through the reality-survival competition Boys Planet, together with Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu-vin, and Han Yu-jin, in 2023.
In July that year, they released their first extended play titled Youth In Shade, which carried the hit track In Bloom.
It was later followed by their other EPs, namely Melting Point, You Had Me At Hello, and Blue Paradise.
Last February, they released the special album entitled Re-Flow, which is their last record as a nine-member line-up, ahead of their final concert together the following month.
