Marcos says fuel prices to go down anew, tells oil companies to fully implement rollback

It is a major drop in prices that will bring relief to the public.

In a video message on Saturday, April 18, President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. personally reported that there will be a forthcoming rollback in fuel prices next week.

Per the chief executive, diesel prices are expected to drop by more than PHP24 per liter, gasoline by PHP3.41, and kerosene by PHP2.00.

May ginhawang parating.”

The Chief Executive also ordered the oil companies to implement the reductions fully and without delay.

In line with this, Marcos encouraged the public to report any violations of the prevailing regulations and assured them of the government’s immediate actions.

Kikilos kami kaagad,” he told.

Meanwhile, the President also said the PHP10 fuel discount for public utility vehicles, such as buses and jeepneys, continues. He also added that the net service contracting program for PUV drivers also remains in effect.
