On Saturday, April 11, SEVENTEEN member Mingyu holds his solo fan meeting in the Philippines, which is part of his activities as the ambassador of a popular chocolate snack brand.
Happening at the Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City, the show marks the 29-year-old’s first solo fan event in the country and his return after the New_ concert in Bulacan last March 21, where he performed alongside eight of his bandmates.
Attendees in the said event joined the online promo held by the brand, which ran over the course of almost two months.
During which, they uploaded photos or videos with the idol’a in-store standee, with winners being drawn upon through a raffle system where they can each snag two tickets to the show.
Last April 6, Mingyu celebrated his 29th birthday, which also makes this show his post-birthday celebration with Filipino CARATs.
Mingyu debuted in 2015 as one of the thirteen members of the band SEVENTEEN, which is known for singles like Pretty U, Aju Nice, Don’t Wanna Cry, Clap, Oh My, Home, Hit, Fear, Left and Right, Home; Run, Ready To Love, Hot, and Super, among others.
In September 2025, Mingyu also formed the sub-unit CxM with the band leader S.Coups and released the album entitled ‘Hype Vibes,’ which carried six songs including the lead single 5, 4, 3 (Pretty woman) that featured rapper Lay Bankz.
