As the conflict in the Middle East rages on and causes strained supply of fuel around the world.
In a statement on Sunday, March 29, budget carrier Cebu Pacific (CEB) said that it “understands the importance of providing clarity and reassurance to its passengers” amid the tensions in the Middle East and disclosed details about its operation.
The airline noted, “[Cebu Pacific] has secured sufficient jet fuel to support all scheduled domestic and international flights until June 2026.“
“CEB is working closely with suppliers and industry partners to ensure continued fuel availability in the months ahead and will continue to take proactive measures to maintain stable and sustainable operations,” it added.
It also said that lassengers can “continue to travel with confidence,” as the airline remains committed to “providing reliable and affordable air travel.“
“We appreciate our passengers’ understanding and encourage them to stay updated through our official channels for the latest information,” it concluded its message.
The statement comes a few days after the local carrier announce network adjustments, which saw the suspension of routes and the reduced frequency of flights to and from local airports to domestic and international destinations.
Cebu Pacific has also suspended its flights to and from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates until April 20, in view of the ongoing conflict.
