They are joining the list of performers that consists some of the biggest and rising names in music from around the world.
On Tuesday, March 17, P-pop Kings SB19 officially unveiled on social media one of their biggest activities for the year.
The five-member group, composed of Josh, Stell, Pablo, Ken, and Justin, wrote in their post, “Surprise A’TIN! We’re so thrilled to announce that we’ll be performing on the Lollapalooza stage this 2026! Can’t wait to see you, Chicago.”
Instantly, this garnered attention from their fans, who expressed their congratulatory messages for the band for getting the spot in the US-based music festival.
Not just, that their fellow artists have also come to share their joy for SB19, who is set to make history as the first Filipino music act to perform at the said event.
The Nation’s Girl Group, BINI, wrote in their page on X, “A win for [SB19], a win for OPM! Huge congrats on your Lollapalooza journey! From PH to the world… mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino!“
In response to that, the P-pop Kings also wished the other group luck as they are also set to make history themselves as they are scheduled to perform at the Coachella Music Festival in California. “Maraming salamat! All the best din sa Coachella nyo this April! Mabuhay ang musikang Pilipino, lagi lagi!” the reply read.
As per the official poster shared by Lollapalooza, other artists set to perform in the 2026 show are Charli XCX, Tate McRae, Lorde, Olivka Dean, Johm Summit, Jennie, The Smashing Pumpkins, and The XX. Also part of the line-up is Filipina-British soloist Beabadoobee.
Lollapalooza was originally established in 1991. Its 2026 edition will be held at Grant Park in Chicago, USA from July 30 to August 2.
