The said activity is in conjunction with the maiden voyage of the first Disney cruise ship in Asia.
From Friday, March 13, to Sunday, March 15, the popular Marina Bay skyline at night will shine brighter as the choreographed fireworks display and performances of music from legendary Disney movies entertain both locals and tourists alike.
For the first night of the three-night celebration, the one-and-only theater icon Lea Salonga served as the opening salvo of the grand affair, which is being held in celebration of the first voyage of Disney Adventure—which is also the first ship of the Disney Cruise Line to be home ported in Asia.
Durimg the evening, the Broadway diva sang anew the popular Disney songs Reflection (from Mulan) and A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes (from Cinderella).
Her performance also comes ahead of her comeback show at The Esplanade, where she will stage her three-night Lea Salonga – Stage, Screen & Everything Concert from March 20 to 22.
Meanwhile, it was last March 10 when Disney Adventure set sail on its maiden voyage from Singapore, with the ship featuring experiences through its seven immersive themed areas that promise to transport guests into iconic stories and worlds drawn upon the over 100 years of storytelling from Disney, Pixar, and Marvel.
This include San Fransokyo Street from Disney’s Big Hero 6.
On board, guests can also enjoy a brand-new Broadway-style musical entitled Remember; immersive dining experiences; signature fireworks at sea; clubs for kids of all ages; a dynamic collection of bars and lounges for adults; and attractions like Disney Cruise Line’s first-ever roller coaster at sea, the Ironcycle Test Run.

The Disney Adventure is part of a multi-year expansion of the award-winning Disney Cruise Line fleet, which currently includes eight ships, with five more planned to join the fleet by 2031.
