Four films curated by the agency will be seen by moviegoers.
From Wednesday, March 11, until next Tuesday, March 17, the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP) will be screening four international films curated under its World Cinema 2026 banner.
According to the council, this movie event will let the public experience “fresh global perspectives, cultural diversity, and the transformative power of cinema.”
Featured in FDCP World Cinema 2026 are the French crime drama film Case 137 by Dominik Moll, Brazilian thriller movie The Secret Agent by Kleber Mendonça Filho, Portuguese drama picture The Blue Trail by Gabriel Mascaro, and the Indian production Don’t Tell Mother by Anoop Lokur
The four featured movies are screened in the following participating theaters across the Philippines: SM Cinema Mall of Asia, Megamall, North EDSA, Southmall, Seaside City Cebu, and Davao; Robinsons Movieworld Manila and Galleria Ortigas; Ayala Malls Cinemas TriNoma, Manila Bay, and Glorietta; Cinema 2000 Gateway Cineplex 18 and Red Carpet Cinema Shangri-La Plaza; Megaworld Cinemas Uptown Taguig and Lucky Chinatown; Power Plant Cinema; and Cinema ’76 Film Society.
Ticket prices to the FDCP World Cinema cost PHP250, both inside Metro Manila and its regional screenings.
Aside from the World Cinema, another FDCP initiative was also recently opened, with that being the new Cinematheque Centre Manila inside the Philippine Film Heritage Building in Intramuros.
