As the long-running series enters its final week.
On Sunday, March 8, the weekly musical-variety show ASAP will present a special “grand pasasalamat” for the primetime action series FPJ’s Batang Quiapo.
In ASAP Presents FPJ’s Batang Quiapo Pasasalamat, the entire cast will come together for the celebration of the show’s three-year-run that is dedicated for their loyal supporters who have consistently tuned in.
In the episode, lead star Coco Martin will join mainstays Ogie Alcasid, Erik Santos, Yeng Constantino, Belle Mariano, Darren Espanto, Alexa Ilacad, BINI, Jona, Elha Nympha, Esang De Torres, Carmelle Collado for the opening number.
Also in the said production are the Batang Quiapo rappers Bassilyo, Smugglaz, Kial, Sisa, MastaFeat, and Flict-G.
Coco will then join his leading lady, Maris Racal, for a tribute duet.
Ogie, Erik, and Yeng will then team up for a number with Cherry Pie Picache, Angel Aquino, Rosanna Roces, Chanda Romero, Jake Cuenca, Aljur Abrenica, Ron Martin, Elijah Canlas, John Medina, Mark Lapid, Alan Paule, Joel Lamangan, Ihman Esturco, Atty. Rey Campanilla, Tess Antonio, Coach Badong, Chet Pastrana, Atong Redillas, Bobby Henson, Jun Nayra, Nor Domingo, Aleck Bovick, Raymond Ronquillo.
The female cast members of the show over the years, Ara Davao, Criza Taa, Gillian Vicencio, and Maris, will also be grouping with each other for a dance number.
Speaking of which, Darren, AC Bonifacio, Alexa, Jameson Blake, Gela Atayde, JM Ibarra, Fyang Smith, will also dance with other cast members led by Jake and Aljur with Jojit Lorenzo, Big Mak, Mammoth, Baby Giant, Ryan Martin, Happy Marcial, Ghercie Soriano, Geline Garcia, Nicole Luna, Mama Loi Villarama, Dyosa Pockoh, Tita Jegs Chinel, and Mrena.
Gary Valenciano also lead a tribute to all the stars of the drama led by Coco with his co-stars.
Meanwhile, to cap the grand celebration, Coco and Julia Montes will introduce their new series entitled Sigabo.
ASAP airs on Sunday at 12:00 noon via the Kapamilya Channel sa ALLTV2, cable, and iWant, as well as Kapamilya Online Live, Jeepney TV, A2Z, and TFC.
