K-pop group WJSN marks 10th anniversary with digital single ‘Bloom Hour’

On Wednesday, February 25, Korean pop girl group WJSN released their new single entitled Bloom Hour.

Joining forces in this comeback, the team’s first in nearly four years, are members Seola, Bona, Exy, Soobin, Eunseo, Yeorum, Dayoung, and Yeonjung. Luda and Dawon begged off from the project.

Concurrent to the song, the three-minute-long video was also dropped on the same day and has since received more almost 100,000 views in under three hours.

Alongside this song, the single Mirror was also issued as a B-side single.

Exactly a decade ago, WJSN debuted on February 25, 2016 as a 12-member group consisting of Korean and Chinese idols. For their first song, they dropped the single Mo Mo Mo and Catch Me.

Eventually, Yeonjung, a member of the project group I.O.I., joined the team and formed WJSN’s well-known 13-member line-up.

Over the years, they have released songs such as Secret, I Wish, Happy, Dreams Come True, Save Me, Save You, La La Love, Boogie Up, and As You Wish.

Prior to their hiatus, they issued the singles Butterfly in 2020, Unnatural in 2021, and Last Sequence in 2022.

Aside from the main group, it also has two sub-ujits, WJSN Chocome and WJSN The Black.
