It will see him reunite with the team behind hus previous blockbuster project.
In a post last Monday, February 23, ABS-CBN Studios’ production unit Star Creatives made an announcement regarding the next project of Kapamilya superstar Daniel Padilla.
The 30-year-old actor, who previously starred in the department’s highly-successful 2025 series Incognito, will be teaming up with the creatives behind that series.
Seen in the photo of Padilla’s recent meeting with the management and creatives are the likes of ABS-CBN COO Cory Vidanes, Head of Entertainment Production and Star Magic Laurenti Dyogi, and Incognito director Lester Pimentel Ong.
“Abangan!!!”, the social media post teasing the project read, although further details are still kept under wraps.
Through the action series, which topped TV viewership and streaming charts during the course of its run, Daniel was able to clinch the Outstanding Asian Star at the Seoul International Drama Awards 2025.
Daniel’s win for Incognito in the said award-giving body marked the fourth consecutive year for a personality from the Philippines, as well as ABS-CBN, to get the award.
The streak began with Belle Mariano in 2022, soon followed by the actor’s former on-screen and real-life partner Kathryn Bernardo in 2023, and Kim Chiu in 2024.
Daniel is also known for his past roles in other series and films, such as Princess And I, Got To Believe, Barcelona, The Hows Of Us, and 2 Good 2 Be True—which he all top-billed alongside Kathryn during their 11-year partnership.
He is also set to do projects with Star Cinema and Star Music, which were first teased back in 2023. However, at present, there are still no new updates regarding those.
