They have been together for more than a decade.
In a post on her Instagram account, former actress Iwa Moto shared a new life milestone not just for her, but also her longtime partner, Pampi Lacson.
The couple recently went on a trip abroad, where the proposal happened in Osaka, Japan on Wednesday, February 18.
In the caption, she wrote: “So… this happened.. ❤️
Mahal, you are my always and forever.. thank you for making me happy.”
Iwa continued, “I can’t wait to be your wife mahal. We have been together for almost 14 years and God knows we have been through alot but in His grace eto tayo, NAGMAMAHALAN. I can’t wait to marry my best friend❤️❤️”
Following the post, Iwa and Pampi were immediately showered with kind messages from their friends and followers who sent their well wishes to them.
Among those that sent their greetings was Lacson’s ex-wife, actress Jodi Sta. Maria, who wrote in the comments section: “Life has a beautiful way of unfolding Congratulations on your engagement Madam and Pampi! Rejoicing with you both! This milestone is truly significant for the whole family!”
In her post-script, she even quipped that she is already preparing for the wedding of Iwa and Pampi. “Handa na po ang susuotin ko,” she said.
In response, Iwa replied: “[G]rabe ka mag predict, amor. Love you. As promised, ikaw ang isa sa mga naunang nakaalam hahaha. See you pag uwi namin.”
Pampi was first married to Jodi from 2005 to 2011. Together, they have a son, Thirdy Lacson.
Following the end of his first marriage, Pampi then began dating Iwa and they have two children named Hiromi and Caleb.
