This, he told, demonstrates the administration’s intensified push to deliver more homes.
During the awarding of new homes under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay Para Sa Pilipino (4PH) Program in Taytay, Rizal, President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. noted the progress achieved by the program so far.
According to him, since it was launched in July 2022 until January 2026, over 423,000 housing units have been built or financed to date under the government’s flagship housing program.
Marcos then stressed that the government is accelerating construction while strengthening mechanisms to make it easier to acquire homes.
One of the reforms implemented is the lowered interest rates on housing loans, which benefitted more Pag-IBIG Fund members. Wnd with government subsidies, the President said more families will have the opportunity to own a home.
At the same event, where the ceremonial turn over of keys took place, he also said: “Maraming kababayan pa natin ang nangungupahan nang walang katiyakan.
DHSUD pertains to Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development, which had its 7th anniversary celebrated at the said ceremony.
Marcos also awarded Certificates of Lot Award and financial assistance to beneficiaries for land and site development under the Enhanced Community Mortgage Program (ECMP).
Moreover, the Chief Executive awarded Certificates of Entitlement to beneficiaries of longstanding Presidential Proclamations, which grants them security of tenure on the land they have occupied after decades of waiting.
