In a statement on Thursday, February 11, Korean music label WAKEONE entertainment announced the future of the Korean boy band ZEROBASEONE.

The current nine-member line-up that comprises of Sung Han Bin, Kim Ji Woong, Zhang Hao, Seok Mattjew, Kim Tae Rae, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, Park Gun Wook, and Han Yu Jin, will be having a shake-up in the coming weeks.

After expressing its sincere gratitude to ZEROSE, the official fan base of the group, the company disclosed that five members have decided to remain under their management and continue promoting as the group by the end of the original contract in March.

Based on strong trust, members Sung Han Bin, Kim Ji Woong, Seok Matthew, Kim Tae Rae, and Park Gun Wook have decided to embark on a new season together as ZEROBASEONE.”

It added that this decision was reached through “sincere and in-depth discussions between the artists, as well as Sung and Kim’s respective agencies—noting that all parties came together in mutual understanding and agreement.

Our company will provide our fullest support to ensure the activities as a five-member group are carried out in a stable manner, while continuing to maintain close communication for the members to grow together as companions on this journey,” WAKEONE furthered.

In line with this announcement and as previously announced, Zhang Hao, Ricky, Kim Gyu Vin, and Han Yu Jin, will be “moving forward to new beginnings” as they return to Yuehua Entertainment.

Our company wishes for their bright future and kindly asks that you continue to send your constant love and encouragement to the members as they begin their new paths,” continued the statement.

WAKEONE also affirmed that the “musical legacy that the nine members have built together under the name of ZEROBASEONE will not remain confined to a single chapter in time” and that it will “continue to grow and expand in diverse forms and possibilities, sustaining its vitality.”

Although the form of activities may change, we promise the values and identity we have shared together will remain constant.”

The band is expected to mount the 2026 ZEROBASEONE WORLD TOUR [HERE & NOW] ENCORE concert, which will feature all nine members performing together on stage and meet the fans.

Additional details about future activities will be shared once they are finalized, told WAKEONE.

ZEROBASEONE was formed through the reality-survival competition Boys Planet that same year and released their first extended play titled Youth In Shade, which carried the hit track In Bloom, soon after.

That was later followed by their other EPs, namely Melting PointYou Had Me At Hello, and Blue Paradise.

Last February 2, they released the special album entitled Re-Flow, which is their last record as a nine-member line-up.
