On Friday, February 6, the special appearance of Call Me Mother star Nadine Lustre on the ABS-CBN variety show, which was teased by her fellow lead Vice Ganda weeks ago, finally came true.

During the episode, Lustre stood on the “game arena” of the program’s popular game segment Laro-Laro Pick, where she joined Vice and other mainstays Anne Curtis and Kim Chiu—making it a rare moment that the four superstars in local showbusiness are seen together on screen.

Aside from Nadine, her long-time partner Chris Bariou also joined in the fun and joined her for a short duet after the You Gotta Lyric round of the contest.

The 32-year-old’s return to It’s Showtime happens after Star Cinema officially announced that Call Me Mother, which was an entry to the 51st Metro Manila Film Festival, raked in PHP392 million globally.

Previously, Nadine was also a semi-regular host of the lunchtime program in 2017, having also participate in the Magpasikat anniversary presentation with Anne Curtis that year.

Meanwhile, last January, it was officially announced that the award-winning actress will return to doing serials, as she is set to topbill the new Viu Original Series Love, Siargao with Alden Richards and Choi Bo-min. It is scheduled to begin streaming later this year.
