Initially, the program only covered condominium type housing.
Last Sunday, February 1, the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD) led the turnover of horizontal housing units under the Expanded Pambansang Pabahay para sa Pilipino (4PH) program.
The said development is located at the Mamburao Ville Socialized Housing Project in Occidental Mindoro and is part of works being done to accelerate the delivery of decent, affordable, and safe housing nationwide.
The Mamburao Ville project spans more than 41,000 square meters and consists of 415 house-and-lot units classified as socialized housing and includes open spaces, parks and playgrounds, and an elevated water tank to support a healthy and sustainable community.
He also pointed out the strong collaboration between the government and the private sector, which he underscored as vital in meeting the country’s housing needs.
