On Friday, January 30, celebrity couple Vic Sotto and Pauleen Luna-Sotto marked another milestone in their relationship.
The Eat Bulaga co-hosts have hit the 10-year mark in their marriage and what better occasion could there be than a renewal of vows ceremony, which they did.
In a series of posts on Instagram, Luna-Sotto shared snapshots from the intimate ceremony held at the Blackbird at Nielson Tower in Makati City and was attended by their family and close friends.
Aside from their daughters, Talitha and Thia, also spotted in the wedding reel were the likes of Senate President Tito Sotto, Helen Gamboa-Sotto, Ciara Sotto, their Eat Bulaga hosts like Allan K, Jose Manalo, Maine Mendoza, and Carren Eistrup.
Meanwhile, in a separate one that she uploaded on Saturday, the 37-year-old said that what happened was a “dream.”
“When my husband first told me he wanted to get married again, I honestly didn’t think he was serious. Everyone knows how much he values small, meaningful moments over anything grand. But looking back now, I am so incredibly grateful that he wanted to do this again,” Pauleen wrote.
Ten years after their first wedding, they now have two kids, which she said is the reason why this vow renewal hit differently.
“Now that we’ve truly lived marriage, seen that it’s not only happy moments and butterflies, renewing our vows feels even more powerful. Saying those words again, this time with deeper understanding and intention, gives them so much more meaning. Celebrating our union again after ten years only strengthens and solidifies what we share,” she continued.
Furthermore, she also shared a message dedicated to her husband, which read: “I want to honor my husband for loving me fully, for always respecting me, for choosing me every single day, and for valuing me so deeply. I love you beyond words, and I will love you forever.”
“Above all, our greatest thanks go to our Creator, the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father, for Your grace, for sustaining us as a couple, for filling us with love for one another when we need it most, and for Your faithfulness to us. We are here because of You, and we celebrate You. We love You, Jesus. We are nothing without You,” the TV host-actress ended her caption.
After being together for more than four years, Vic and Pauleen tied the knot in January 2016. The following year, they announced their first pregnancy with Talitha in May 2017, which Pauleen gave birth to in November of that year.
In January 2024, they welcomed their second child, Thia Marceline, who is also known by her nickname Mochi.
