Continuing its supremacy not only on Saturday nights.
According to GMA Network, the long-running travel and food documentary show Pinas Sarap, hosted by Kara David, emerged as the number 1 show of its secondary channel GTV in 2025.
Citing data from the Nielsen TV Audience Measurement data, showed impressive performance in the Total Philippines (Urban and Rural) for 2025, tallying an average people rating of 2.9 percent.
Likewise, in Urban Philippines, Pinas Sarap rated an average people rating of 3.3 percent throughout 2025.
GMA noted that this feat marks the second consecutive year that Pinas Sarap was the top-rating program on GTV, where it airs every Saturday nights at 8:15 pm.
Host Kara David credited the program’s continued success to its loyal viewership and the dedicated production team. “When we started Pinas Sarap, the mission was to highlight the food, history, and culinary creativity of Filipinos. I’m really happy that after 9 years, patuloy kaming tinatangkilik ng mga Pinoy.“
She added, “Nagpapasalamat kami sa lahat ng home cooks na pinapasok kami sa kanilang mga kusina, pati na rin sa mga mangingisda at magsasaka na sinamahan kami sa dagat at palayan. Kitakits hanggang sa susunod nating lusong!“
Since 2017, Pinas Sarap has been taking viewers on a journey through the country’s rich culinary landscape and even goes beyond the kitchen by directly going into the heart of the harvest—farmlands, aquafarms, and more.
In 2025, the program was conferred with the Philippine Tourism Excellence Award for Travel Show at the inaugural Philippine Tourism Awards of the Departure of Tourism.
It also won Best Lifestyle/Travel Show at the 37th Star Awards for Television and received the Anak TV Seal during the 2025 Anak TV Seal Awards for its Baler Seafood episode.
