Nanno is back in a new universe.

On Monday, January 19, Netflix Thailand released the 55-second-long preview of the upcoming series Girl From Nowhere: The Reset.

This series will have its story take place in a different universe from the original series that starred Kitty Chicha Amatayakul, which ran for two seasons in 2018 and 2021.

In The Reset, the role of Nanno will be portrayed by Becky Armstrong, who will be joining “six schools in six episodes over their six burning hot issues.”

In the final part of the clip, Becky said while dressed as her character, “Because a world without Nanno would be too boring.”

Girl From Nowhere sees an immortal entity that named Nanno fight against injustices in different schools. The original series also grew a sizeable following in the Philippines, having ranked among the leading shows during its initial streaming at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Meanwhile, Becky started out by playing the supporting role Thanya in TharnType 2: Years Of Love in 2020.

She would eventually land major role in Thailand’s first girls’ love series, Gap: The Series, where she was paired with Freen Sarocha to form the tandem FreenBecky. Eventually, they would star together anew in other projects like Secret Crush On You and The Loyal Pin.
