Adding to the list of volleyball stars that have started a new chapter in their relationships.
In a post on her Instagram account on Sunday, January 4, Alas Pilipinas star Sisi Rondina announced a new life milestone.
This, as she finally said “yes” to the proposal of her boyfriend and volleyball player Ronniel Rosales, which happened in Batangas.
“It’s a forever thing,” with Rondina adding a heart, ring, and infinity emojis at the end of her short, but sweet caption for the post that has since garnered over 50,000 likes as of this writing.
Among those that congratulated and expressed best wishes to Sisi and Ronniel were the likes of Eya Laure, Fille Cayetano, Gretchel Soltones, Jennifer Nierva, Vanie Gandler, and more.
The couple’s engagement happens just weeks after they both competed at the 33rd Southeast Asian (SEA) Games in Thailand last December.
Sisi joined forces with Bernadeth Pons, Dij Rodriguez, and Sunny Villapando in the women’s team of the Alas Pilipinas Beach squad. Together, they bagged the country’s first gold medal in the team sport.
Similarly, Ronniel also participated in the regional meet as part of the men’s team.
