BigHit reveals details for BTS’ March comeback, upcoming world tour

In a statement issued on Sunday, January 4, Korean music label BigHit Music announced details regarding the comeback of the K-pop mega group BTS this year.

Slated to happen on March 20, 2026, the band will be releasing their fifth album on the said date, which is their first after more than three years.

The new album holds special significance as it marks the first album released by the group in three years and nine months, while also indicating the direction the group will take going forward,” the company shared.

It continued, “The members were deeply involved in the creation of the songs, infusing their own thoughts and colors into them while musically expressing the emotions and struggles they have experienced along their journey.”

This album will feature a total of 14 tracks and is packed with “honest stories that BTS wants to share with ARMY, who have been waiting for their comeback as a whole group.”

It will be filled with the music “that’s most true to BTS,” and will serve as their “heartfelt way of saying thank you to ARMY, who have been there this whole time,” the company elaborated.

Pre-order is slated to start on January 16, the label added.

In line with this album, the team will also embark on a world tour, with the schedule to be announced on January 14 at 12:00 mn (Korean time), according to BigHit.

This announcement comes days after the band dropped the initial teasers on their social media pages, with their Instagram account being wiped as well as part of the initial promotions.
