24/7 EDSA Rehab project commences

With the construction timeline set to only eight months.

At exactly 11:00 pm on Christmas Eve, December 24, the round-the-clock rehabilitation works at EDSA will start.

The project, led by the Department of Public Works and Highways, will have intermittent road closures to give way to Concrete Reblocking Works and Asphalt Overlay.

In the schedule published by the department, ghe following sections of EDSA will be affected from December 24 at 11:00 pm to December 27. Motorists are advised to take alternative routes.

CONCRETE REBLOCKING WORKS

• SOUTHBOUND
  
• December 24-27, 2025: P. Celle Street to Roxas Boulevard (inner lane only)
  
• December 26–27, 2025: Tramo Flyover to P. Celle Street (inner lane only)
• NORTHBOUND
  
• December 24–27, 2025: Roxas Boulevard to Park Avenue (inner lane only)
  
• December 27, 2025: Park Avenue to Taft Avenue (inner lane)

ASPHALT OVERLAY

• SOUTHBOUND
  
• December 25, 2025: EDSA Orense to Urdaneta Village
• December 26, 2025: EDSA Orense to Magallanes Interchange
  
• December 27, 2025: Tramo to Loring Street (inner lane to outer lane)

Meanwhile, the following sections of EDSA will be affected from December 28 to 5:00 am on January 5, 2026.
