He confirmed this during his trial broadcast.
On Friday, December 19, TV host-producer Willie Revillame made a special announcement during a live dry-run of his upcoming game show Wilyonaryo, which will air on the Cignal TV platform.
At one point during the broadcast, which was streamed on his official social media pages, Revillame announced new developments about his program.
According to the veteran TV personality, the supposed launch of Wilyonaryo and the WilTV channel on Sunday, December 21 have been postponed to January 2026.
This is to allow them to continue with their technical rehearsals, as well as to prepare for a major comeback for Revillame on free-to-air television.
The host confirmed that the program will be having a simulcast on TV5’s primetime block. He hinted that the set-up could mean that a large chunk of the show will air on WilTV, while the jackpot portion would broadcast simultaneously on both channels.
Although, he noted that details are still being fine-tuned, with the exact information to be revealed as the launch date nears, which he said would happen in late January to coincide with his 65th birthday.
The addition of Wilyonaryo to TV5 is one of the upcoming programming developments at the Kapatid station in 2026.
Last Wednesday, December 17, it was confirmed that its partnership with ABS-CBN for the network’s primetime dramas and weekend shows would officially cease to take effect on January 2.
Apart from the game show, the network is also preparing its slate of drama series, with titles like A Secret In Prague, The Good Doctor (Philippine adaptation), and My Bespren Emman emerging in the initial slate of the network. Although their launch dates have not yet been revealed as of writing.
Notably, this would also mark Revillame’s TV5 comeback, where his past shows Willing Willie, Wil Time Big Time, and Wowowillie aired from 2010 to 2013 and Wil To Win from 2024 to 2025 were aired.
